We have installed a self-consumption solar power system at our head office as one of the initiatives for reducing CO2 emissions within the entire value chain. The system started generating electric power on January 31, and will generate about 12% of all electric power used at the head office.
It is an expansion of renewable energy use within the Furukawa Electric Group for the manufacture of materials for wire harness terminals, components and products, and will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions throughout the entire value chain.
