in Mexicali on April 22 1998 as a manufacturing
company in the automotive industry.
Today we are more than 2000 associates making
history Our plant is inside a 17 000 sq m
building on a 34 000 sq m lot.

Furukawa Automotive Mexico is
established in Mexicali, the
capital city of Baja California,
Mexico.
It located at Northwest
part of Mexicali Valley, and
South border with Calexico,
California, USA.
Mexicali stands out as being one
of the hottest cities in Mexico
during summertime, as well as
the lowest level of annual
rainfall.
With a population of
1,059,460 inhabitants, it is the
13th most popular city in
Mexico.
There is a strong relationship between the two border cities of Mexicali and Calexico due to economic, social, cultural, and demographic links.

At Furukawa Automotive México we primarily
manufacture:
•SRC or Steering Roll Connector a device
used to activate the airbags
•Wire Harness sets of cables and connectors
for any of the vehicle's electrical systems
•Fuse boxes, battery sensors, and
connectors also manufactured in our plant
Our processes are certified IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (health safety).
